Would you say something about the struggle to forgive the church for overlooking transgressions of their clergy (of all denominations, I would suspect) who are guilty of sexual improprieties, harrassment, advances, etc. I see the church sheltering and protecting the clergy rather than taking care of those who have been the objects (I hesitate to use the word victim) of the abuse. Forgiving the perpretator is one thing -- forgiving the church is another. Forgiving the church is the more difficult of the two.
